Orange and T-Mobile could offer Apple’s iPad for as little as £200 when customers sign up to certain tariffs.

Everything Everywhere, the parent company of the network operators, has hinted that shoppers will be able to buy Apple’s tablet computer for significantly less than its £429 entry-level price if they sign up to specific data packages.

The cut-price iPads, which will be available before Christmas, will be sold through Everything Everywhere’s new retail outlets and online. It is likely that customers will have to sign up to an 18-month or two-year data deal, spending around £15 per month.
